Wheel bearings - could garage have damaged

Hi

My drivers side wheel bearings are damaged as I have an oscillating noise when going round corners or going above 40mph.

I had a speed sensor changed last week (trying to find cause of ABS issue). Could the garage have damaged the bearings whilst changing the sensor? Or could this be a coincidence?

I doubt they damaged a wheel bearing... there pretty robust..... could possilbly have bent the dust sheild round the disc , maybe it's that ??
