Just got my car back from audi after having cambelt and haldex service (as theyre doing 50% off labour charges)

and my rear drop link is nackered.

Aye, that looks like a rear droplink. I've recently bought some suspension bits for my A3 which were made by Lemforder. The parts had VAG part numbers moulded onto them and the company logos ground off so the same parts that go to VAG for about half the price. Worth giving these guys a call and say you want a Lemforder part: Home. Very fast delivery as well.
