Mad fuel gauge on APY s3

Hi guys, got a problem with my s3. I have just installed a powertec sl1000 induction kit and now when the engine is running the fuel gauge goes crazy (showing full empty half way and just zipping around!).
I have left the pipe for the SAI open would that make a difference? Thanks

You induction kit and sai has no effect on your fuel gauge. The fault is most likely your fuel sender, may just need a clean
