The 4S IS 4wd... though I don't doubt what you're saying. The C4s was trying but to put a few things to rest a classic video, ‪Porsche 911 4S (320hp)vs. tuned Audi S3 (360hp)‬‏ - YouTubeocus RS's again, if the surface is damn in anyway they are a handful, plus 4wd off a roundabout cant be touched....

How anybody could ever own one of these without a remap is beyond me !
how anyone could stop at a remap is beyond me
Lol I've own 3 different k04's
Oh and had a Lurid Green Focus RS this morning, i beat him in my evo and have now beaten him in the S3, loved the look on his face as 'just' a S3 blasted past him!
Result afterwards was 303bhp, BUT 415lbsft torque .
Unfortunately even stage 1 s3's are slow...
What everyone seems to forget is the S3 dont put that much power down at the wheel and there quarter mile times rarely seem to be that great. Im not 100% on this but seen a standard S3 dyno about 150bhp at the wheels when on a 4wd dyno.
Yep I beat one at Inters on the 1/4 mile...the driver was not happyplus a FWD edition 30 for example loses more power between wheels and tarmac than an S3 when launched.
415lbs my anus. 415nm more like.
415nm = 306lbs which sounds about right for your bhp figure.
I can beleive that, when I first bout my 11 yr old it would've probably ran about 150 a the wheels, purely because all the pipes were perished and it was running low on power.
However a healthy S3 standard would run more than that, the drive train loss is 15% not 33.3% , so you would expect 190+ at the wheels from a 225. Still low i agree, but not as low as 150, plus a FWD edition 30 for example looses more power between wheels and tarmac than an S3 when launched.
Ed 30 is a newer car,if your going to slate the S3 then it has to be a car in the same era with better looks/stance/build/rep

I was referring to a 210bhp as thats what I have. There are a lot of things which contribute to transmission losses but a average FWD car typically lose about 15%, RWD few more % and 4WD lose around 5-9% more than a FWD setup. Some old scoobies lose around 30%.
From what I have seen from the dyno readings members upload on here they tend to loss around 40-50bhp. Why is 150bhp so mad for. A S3 which dyno's about 200bhp at the fly will gives around 150bhp at the wheels on a 4WD dyno.
So 210bhp S3 losing around 20-24% should run about 168bhp - 159bhp so not far off what I said I can remember seeing a S3 running about 150bhp at the wheels. As great as flywheel figures are, wheel figures are what really counts if you refer to dyno's that is.
My best at inters was 5.18 and 13.8 at c. 100 with an unfinished k04 hybrid etc etc
What time and terminal speed did you run.
What was you running then Dane, I lost count with the amount of turbo's you have run on your car lol.
OK I'll give it a go. Rolling start at 99? haha
It depends what your driving
id race ur crosser to 100 lol
a friend of mine has the same bike foook me it shifts
