Hi all!

My avant has a really strange noise in the cabin and I can't really describe how it sounds, its sounds like its coming from the climate control area, but if I lightly rev it - its gone, however whilst idling its back. Trust me its annoying me to the point where I'm revving it just so that I don't hear it.

It's like its burping.....with a 0.3 millisecond gaps.......seriously I don't know how to describe it.

I did find someone on another Audi forum with similar problem however it was no help.

By the way its a Audi A4 1.9 (AWX) if that helps.

Somebody please help me!! :(

maybe a long shot but you may have air traped in there as there is a small rad there just a thought

Could it be plastic rubbing on plastic? Life a flap trying to operate, but getting stuck?

Nope....., but if I slightly rev it, the noise goes away. Could it be something to do within the engine bay?

Also if it helps the noise is not noticeable when the car is cold, however more noticeable when the car's warm.
