pull it off?

to change a gear knob? just pull it off or is there anything else i should know ?

i think its held on by an alen key or screwed on mate cant see it being just push on

Lift up the surround and pull it right over the knob of the gearstick. At the base of the knob on the inside is a plastic/metal thing that needs pulling apart with a screwdriver. You'll need a new one (or bodge it back together) when done or you'll have an annoying rattle!

yep, just busted the old bit off and away she came, wont need a new part as iv got a whole new one!
