Hello peeps

In need of help. Have been in talks for a new set of wheels for the last couple of days and have been asked to arrange my own courier for postage. Have no idea how to do this but thought you guys would know. Wheels are a set of 4 19's including tyres. Could people please let me know how to arrange this and give me the cheapest courier.

TIA

I use Paisley Freight as they specialise in wheels & tyres. Its around £30 for four 18" alloys & tyres and was overnight service (poss a little more for 19?). A lot of people use them & never read of any issues.

Interparcel : Discount UK & International Parcel Delivery & Courier Services Will cost about £8 per wheel.

Just ask seller for dimensions and weight of 1 wheel then send him the labels that they email to you.

Thanks Adam ill have a look into this, how long do they usually take to send labels out?

Cheers Tim do you have a website or contact for this?

I've used them twice. And twice they have f'ked up.

I've never had a problem using interparcel(current order history shows £780) and their staff are always great if you need something changed or a more up to date status on the item. Definatley worth the few quid extra.

I used them for my wheels by the way and they were fine! Heres the link anyway.

Alloy Wheel Courier | Paisley Freight

Cheers for the help fellas much appreciated :)

One more thing lads, when you order this online, do you just put the posters address in so the labels go straight to him or do you get them sent to you first them send them in the post?

I think all couriers send/ email them straight to the collection address. If not, they'll stick them on when they collect the wheels.

I have used Interparcel, ParcelMonkey and Parcel2go for loads of wheels over the course of the last couple of years. Never had a problem with either of them, but I always get a quote from all three as their prices undercut eachother with a change of the wind.

I've send Bicycles and damage-sensitive electronic equipment too, and they've all reached the destination in perfect condition.

I always allow around £12 per wheel, to include insurance to cover the value, if one (or more) gets damaged. If you're a gambling man, you can cut this cost out and go for cheapy £7 per wheel option.

Hope that helps.?

I've used Paisley Freight too for a couple of things. They got the alloys there no problems and seem to give a good service for the price imo

I'd recommend them to, i've been using them for the last 3 years and they collected nearly every part on my car, front and rear bumper, front grille, bonnet, coilovers and three sets of alloys :)

Paisley Freight used here too, and recommend them.
They aren't an actual courier themselves, they just book the shipment with the likes of CityLink etc.
They were the cheapest and easiest I could find, and weren't fussy about the dimensions of the item being sent like some other shippers are.
