New Front Tyre Recommendations Please..

Currently running Dunlop SportMaxx all round, and need 2 new fronts sharpish, loved the grip factor with the Dunlop, but not the wear factor !!

Car is a FWD 2.0Tfsi remapped to 262 BHP, Standard 18" S-Line SE Rims..

Not continental sc3, or goodyear f1 assyms.Both have soft sidewalls, and the contis wear as you watch them.Bridgestones have a stiff sidewall but a bit crashy, and a bit twitchy in the damp.All are **** in the snow/ice.Damo, what are the sidewalls like on those sessantas?I need em real stiff (ooeer) or they would counteract my arbs

if you want a set of tyres with stiff sidewalls try a set of toyo r888's

Otherwise it's got to be michelin pilot sports or vredesteins as mentioned for me.

Ok, going to give the Vredesteins a spin, managed to find a garage not to far away with a pair on the shelf, should get em fitted by the weekend. Does £110 each sound fair ?
