exhaust pipe diameter

hi guys, anyone know what diameter of pipe to go with for a 1.8t, i think i saw 2.5 inches on some site and i am talking about the main pipe not the tips

Depends on what engine you have but I would go for 2.5 as a min - 3" would be better but doubt you would need anything larger than that.
