Tyre Size

Hi all

Need some help I'm looking at getting some new tyres but don't like the standard size of
225/47/17 was wanting to get tyres that are of a lower profile would 205/45/17 fit oh and the wheels are the avus 17 S3 wheels!!!

225/47?/17 are they not 45? mine are on standard avus alloys. depends how much stretch you want, and how much protection to your wheel. you could get 225/40 or 215/40, that wouldnt be too extreme

Whats wrong with 225 section? You can fit others but you'll affect the rolling circumference of the wheel which means your speedo will be out.

Here is a tool you can use to see how much difference it makes - the new tyre size will have a smaller circumference by 18mm.
