Hi all,
Just had a 4wheel alignment done after renewing balljoints etc...
Does this look ok?

Front Camber: L-0.51 R-0.50
Caster: L6.52 R6.49
Toe: L0.03 R0.03
Total Toe: 0.06

Rear Camber: L-1.38 R-1.36
Rear Toe: L0.10 R0.09
Thrust 0.03

These wear after adjustments....The caster is highlighted in Red on the printout, apparently its non adjustable.
No one from the local ProTyre could figure out why the caster was so far out?.
Any ideas?

Before readings
OSF Toe was 0.45 - which would explain why my steering was pulling.
NSR Toe was 0.35 - which im hoping was from where i had the are off to renew the bearing.

How does she drive now?

castor is adjustable by moving the subframe back and forward

positive front camber sounds bad though

It drives beautifully.. the steering feels a lot more responsive too.

oops, the camber is negative, ill edit the above post now.

Just did a quick search, a lot of golfs/a3's etc show excessive caster on certain equipment?? its odd both sides are so similar unless its had a front end shunt?

Nope protyre in Tavistock devon, as i get trade there it only cost £35 for the whole lot.
Wheras protyre in Plymouth wanted £24 per adjustment lol

They use some ****** good equipment though:
connect a plate to each wheel, then they turn the steering, shows how much every variable is out.
even shows them where/ how to adjust it onscreen.

I had to lol, at the young lad trying to release the four bolts holding my trailing arm on.
He tried using a 1/4" drive at first.. then 3/8".
I felt then was a good time to tell him i rattled them up with a 500 ftlb air gun.

Unfortunately Audi state you cant adjust camber/caster on the front. Means its a ****** to get most places to to it.
