I have a 2005 A3 and I am hoping to retrofit the AMI unit. With it being an older car I do not have the right CAN BUS Gateway module. Mine is the D revision. Can anyone help in telling me the right revision I need to get the AMI working so I can hunt for one on ebay or a breakers yard. Thanks

I have bought an AMI unit of Ebay, but I do not have the right glovebox to fit it in. Can someone tell me the part number for the glovebox i need in soul black or is it possible to fit a cd changer cutout in my glovebox and jigsaw a hole in the back. Any advise would be most welcome. Thanks

I had the same problem with the electrical connector. If you go to your local dealer you can buy an adaptor lead that plugs into your original connection and your new brake light. Does not cost alot, but I can't find a part number for you.

What size drill did you use to drill the holes out bigger as I was planning on swapping my bumper this weekend until I saw the thread about different size parking sensor holes. This method does seem the easier way of going about it instead of buying new plugs and rewire. Thanks

Isn't the latest S3 bumper still come in 3 pieces whilst the 09 s line is just 2 pieces, so I would doubt it if the S3 diffuser would fit.

I also can recommend the Wheel Specialist. I used the Nottingham branch to do my Pescaras and they recommended chrome outer with black inner as I could not decide what I wanted to do and I am well pleased with them.

I am looking at putting an 09 s line rear bumper on, would it fit ok and would I need the 09 reinforcement bar. Sorry for bringing this thread back up , but I can not find the answer and I am going to look at one tomorrow and if it is a straight replacement I am going to buy it. Thanks
