Make sure that the button with the picture of a car with the doors open up by the mirror is activated. It's just a press button rather than a rocker switch as it tended to be in days gone by.

Auto Hold retrofit help please with Manual RHD

If it makes you feel any better I just ripped interior plastic parts of my £67k RS3 apart based on a LHD guide and all the attachment points were the same. Granted two wires were different than the LHD version, but that’s why I was saying to check. [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Auto Hold retrofit help please with Manual RHD

As previously said, all the mounting points will just be mirrored for LHD/RHD. And the manual/auto probably won’t make any difference, just take a look and see if the colours and number references for the wiring is the same as the link above and go from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brake pedal going stuff when not in use

I imagine it's just the same as all other cars where the pedal goes stiff if the engine is off. I know what you mean about trying to start it but it never actually stopped me getting the thing turned over.

    Break caliper?

Just walked past a neighbours A5 that had the same looking callipers on what I believe is a 2.0T. It seems that at some point they stuck these on the cars but I don’t know what engine/drivetrain combo instigates it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Break caliper?

Not sure on the size thing but whoever painted you callipers probably shouldn’t do it again. Painted over the link pipes, bleed nipples, rubber nipple covers, etc. that should’ve been masked and protected. [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stop/start,,,, battery voltage level controlled ?

Was it actually the SS that killed it though? My 2022 motorcycle has gone through a battery already and doesn’t have stop start, sometimes it’s just a bad battery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stop/start,,,, battery voltage level controlled ?

I get your point but if everything has been designed for that purpose then I imagine there should be no additional maintenance required. How many batteries have you replaced with a stop start car? I can’t say I’ve heard of an underlying problem in that regard, but I’ve also not specifically...

Stop/start,,,, battery voltage level controlled ?

I really don’t know if that’s possible or not to g be e honest. As long as it doesn’t drain the battery by accident then you should be good. [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stop/start,,,, battery voltage level controlled ?

There are tons of things which affect it. I found something as simple as having the climate control not synced up could stop it working completely. Same goes for cold engine, low batter voltage, heated seats, A/C, etc. Lots of reasons it doesn’t work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Instrument Nav only showing compass

I really don’t know, but I think the subscription is for the map imagining rather than just having navigation. Could be wrong though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Instrument Nav only showing compass

Are you using Waze or Google Maps or another navigation app through Apple CarPlay or android auto? If so I believe it then does that but it’s been a good few years since I had my B9… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    RS3 8v springs on an A4 Avant b9

What Darren said, they’re generally £200 delivered. Alternatively, I might actually have a set of S4 Avant springs in the shed you can have if you pay postage. Wouldn’t be super low or anything but likely lower than stock. Depends on the engine you have as well though, as it could make it sit...

    Chasing indicators?

Good info, I didn’t realise that they could just be swapped. So at least that means the OP might just be able to turn them back on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chasing indicators?

I don’t believe they can be turned off, I’m pretty sure it’s a hardware difference rather than software so that’s just how the light units function. If you have the LED headlights but not the rear LED scrolling version then there might be something up like they’ve been swapped. When I bought my...

    Chasing indicators?

I believe the scrolling rear indicators only come if you have the LED headlights rather than HID setup, so that should help you. I believe that the hardware is different and it’s not just a software thing, but I’m not 100% on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wheel spacers?

Failing that, why not just measure your cars outer hub size as that’s the same diameter as the spacers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Looking for a used S4

I’d go for that one then. You can see on top of the strut towers there’s a kind of cap and looks like wires coming out of it, so this one has the adaptive system (unless they aren’t actually wired and I’m not seeing it right). You could again ask the dealer if the suspension settings are...

    Looking for a used S4

Unless I’m mistaken, the only options are with/without adaptive suspension and you’re not able to get the comfort/sport/s line options. Honestly though, standard isn’t bad and the Eibach springs make the ride a little more compliant still, but also better in cornering. Visually, you can tell is...
