i had the same problem. Took ages to warm up and rarely reached 90 degs. Changed the sender first - no change. Changed the stat and problem sorted.

yep spot on. Its not electrical wiring its either an overfill pipe when its get too high up the filler neck or a breather.

ive got bose and i think it sounds very clear and ive never heard it distort up high really. Unless your putting it up ear bleeding loud. Its perfectly fine for everyday use and normal sound levels imho.

hm... Ive got this, but i know why lol. It got noticable when i put a pipercross panel filter in, and even more so now with a cone. I always thought it was normal, someone on here explained it was normal a while back i think. mine only does it under low boost, on full throttle/full boost it...

temprature sensor, and probaly the thermostat aswel. edit: just noticed youve already replaced the temp sensor....as said above - go with maf next.

dont think u can replace the tailpipes on their own - you would have to get a new backbox which seems a waste of money when you could just spend a few hours cleaning them.

yea although some of them are using massive bins, i just bought the S3 kit.

realistically probaly nothing, as i did the first test in 2nd, and this time in 3rd and 4th and it was 6 degs outside so as leggy said that probaly helped, so that might be why its higher than last time. Feels the same tbh, i just wanted the noise, and its a bonus that i havent lost power.

Just fitted a jetex filter and took it out for a run. Highest reading was 210.19 @ 6360rpm. Which is just stage 1 at the moment. The only reason i put the cone on was for the noise, which i love ! Sounds perfect. So im fairly happy the maf reading was that high, as my only other previous...

hm, decided to order a kit instead now so hopefully it will be the right size anyway. Probaly get slated but after reading all the info on scn, the jetex cone with some heat shield seems to be a comprimise - as basically i just want some turbo/dump noise to satisfy my inner chav. ^_^

Its what i use and it is supposed to be the best oil you can get. However whether the difference would be noticed to halfords special is another matter. Its nice to you you've done the most you can to prolong the life of the engine though.

ive got this problem, it does warm up but rarely gets to 90. Ive just changed my temp sensor, but no difference. so im 99% sure its the stat which im changing on the weekend, i will report back.

Ive bought a new stat to change on my S3, but it didnt come with a new O-ring, which it should aparantly ? Did yours ?

i had the same and replaced an individual one, and another as a spare and had no more problems yet, but im expecting more to go soon !
