I currently have one with a bottom leg and much more expensive! However my son does not like, it has a cushing bag around him blocking his movements! Pretty much every car seat group 1 and 2 comes with top tether and rarely you see with bottom leg as it does not work when they grow up.
There...
Top tether is a requirement in Europe. UK sometimes have a different legal requirement (normally less restrictive/safe) but this top tether must be used with car seats when using isofix without leg support (that bar going to the bottom). Most car seats that group 1 to 2 and 3 using isofix also...
I might not have been clear! Those slide attachments are also where you screw a tether anchor for the top tether that comes on pretty much any car seat group 2 onwards.
I have the isofixbase attachments but don’t have anything to properly attach the top tether for my new car seat.
Wondering...
Yes, I’ve got isofix on both rear sides seats and front passenger seat! Just weird that on the rear left there isn’t any option!
Just wondering if someone managed to get a solution. I can see that the boot luggage attachments points are very strong and it could be a solution I could attach the...
I just bought a new forward-facing car sear for my son group 1 2 and 3 just to find out that my Audi A4 B8 2008 Avant does not have the tether anchor to retrofit the actual tether anchor/hook that Audi sells. This only on the passenger/left rear side where I need the car seat to live.
As you...
Hi, my A/C was running absolutely fine with no smell at all. After these last fee hot days with A/C on, a unbearable smell like pee comes came through. It was fine before and it happens form one that to another.
After a long search on internet I found that it could be 2 reasons:
- Cabin...

Just had my Gearbox Oil changed but can't notice much difference! He felt it smooth before already even after 60k miles with no oil changed!
Might now notice that the car is not pushing forward anymore when braking or stopping the car but need more time to be sure about that!
Did you felt...
I thought the filter does not need to be changed and also that the oil has to be warmed up, not sure about the Gearbox needed to be cold!
On a Audi dealer do they change the filter?

Sent a email to my Audi dealer to have a quote!
The independent garage that does the job for 168 is a very well reputed in Portsmouth and on internet but for the same price I would take it to Audi.

Hi!
I live in Portsmouth and looking for specialist garage to chance my Multitronic Gearbox Oil for the fair price!
I had a quote of £168 for the job on JKM Motor Service!
Any other ideas?
My B8 has 98k miles with only one Multitronic oil change at 38k, it seems to be running smooth but...
I believe I found where the rattle comes from! At least it's not making the noise when punching the muffler as he was making before.
The rubber slides (even when we can see any gap) on the metal hanger when the car is in certain rpm producing a funny rattle! I put a zip tie to see if it works...
One more problem that is driving me mad!
My 2009 B8 2.0 TDI SE does a very noticeable rattle around the exhaust where the muffler is hanged! It does he noise all the time I cross the he 1050rpm no matter what.
From outside we noticed that it was the muffler vibrating as when touched the...
I have been searching a lot regarding LED upgrade for my halogen headlights.
I have upgraded to Phillips Xtreme Night Vision but I still don't think it has changed much. At night I do need more light output.
LED technology has been improving quite a lot over the last year, so, I believe that...
Well, today I was checking my engine again as I had to remove one headlight to be fixed and took the opportunity having a good look. Also removed the engine cover.
1. I found what it's called a strut tower plug/cover down the bottom stuck very close to the engine body. At the beginning I...
