I've got Forge, and they are supposed to be fitted on top apparently. I've got mine on top. It will push the wheel out, if mounted bottom you will have to shorten the bar, and I've read that some can not shorten it sufficiently to get the camber they want. See below.
Here is what a Forge rep...
No wonder the bolts broke.... without contact between spacer and hub the stress on the bolts are way too high. Weird you haven't felt vibrations in the car though, as a warning something was wrong?
Nothing wrong with the spacer or the wheel though, they are just not made for each other... I...
Well, I like to cover my options first, but so far Dan is on top of the list.
Having said that, anyone got experience with the Frankenturbo kits?

Ok, so I got a few options, a kind offer by beachbuggy to sort me out with new internals (well, not me, but the turbo), or buy a complete unit. So if I go for a complete unit, where to get one?
Ok, this is what I've got, in and out play.... So no good then.
What options am I looking at if I go for upgrade? Apart form the turbo what do I need? Downpipe I guess, but the rods on the AMK should be ok for about 300 bhp, right? I 've already got the Forge TIP fitted, that's when the play in...

During some work on my 2002 S3 AMK, the guy at the work shop discovered play in the turbo, according to him severe play. They advised me to get a "new" refurbished turbo and they come up with a price for the turbo of £1300 + labour.
So I'm thinking, is there any other way to come about this...
Had my car on service last week, standard issue + haldex oil and brake fluid. Yesterday the engine light lit up (yellow) and today the ESP light is on permanently. Any clues to what's going on?

Well, the pic is photoshop job and the tweaking made whatever difference there is in reality come out. The paint job is far from perfect, that door is actually brand new, got it replaced under warranty. The whole car is a bit "patchy" actually.
Well, here in the good old Norway wrap is something like £1600-£2200 depending and respray is more like £5500. So that's why I'm considering it. For equal money, I agree with you, paint is sweeter.
