During some work on my 2002 S3 AMK, the guy at the work shop discovered play in the turbo, according to him severe play. They advised me to get a "new" refurbished turbo and they come up with a price for the turbo of £1300 + labour. So I'm thinking, is there any other way to come about this...

Got a diagnose yesterday. Cracked vacuum pipe. Don't know what the ESP light was about though, so will check the fuse box.

Had my car on service last week, standard issue + haldex oil and brake fluid. Yesterday the engine light lit up (yellow) and today the ESP light is on permanently. Any clues to what's going on?

I ran H&R at the rear and OEM up front for a week or two - that was proper shait I can tell you. The car was close to unpredictable.

Standard Avus 17" is 7.5" wide, ET32. I believe the 18" is 8" wide, same ET.

Well, the pic is photoshop job and the tweaking made whatever difference there is in reality come out. The paint job is far from perfect, that door is actually brand new, got it replaced under warranty. The whole car is a bit "patchy" actually.

Well, here in the good old Norway wrap is something like £1600-£2200 depending and respray is more like £5500. So that's why I'm considering it. For equal money, I agree with you, paint is sweeter.
