    knocking and grinding noise on left hand bends

    Probably the wheel bearings as mentioned above.. Always obvious when accelerating into a turn. If the sound is from the rear then the diff or haldex could be to blame Either/or

    Steaming up headlights

    It's happenened to me.. It is mentioned in the handbook as a result of moisture, and it does clear up, so I wouldn't worry..
