Morning all, I've just had my alarm siren replaced (on a 99 S3) and thought that the car would now beep when locked / unlocked, is this the case? There is no noise at all from mine, I even tried locking the car (with the remote) and then opening the drivers door with the key - nothing...

As the title says really, just wondered how you think an origional S3 with a 265BHP remap would stack up compared with a new 265PS jobbie? Similar BHP but the origional must be considerably lighter, so it should be faster accelerating? What do you reckon?
