2001 AMK S3 - Paid a quick visit to the new stealers at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol last week - checked on the system and booked in for next week and they are also going to look at the roof rail - courtesy car as well! Had to wait about a minute to see someone and even offered a coffee!

I had a classic shape impreza with the prodrive engine upgrade (Dynoed at 257bhp). Chopped it in for the S3 coz I was cheesed off with rattling interior and it was too damn noisy on the motorway. The S3 is a much nicer car to sit in and with a remap not too far off the scoob in a straight line.

I also have to say that I have Eibach springs (std dampers) and don't like the way the car sits - front I am ok with but the back is still too high. Having said that, the ride is absolutley fine. Tufty - do you remember where you got your Apex springs from?

I got mine sprayed black to match the car as it had gone all streaky and I couldn't find anything to clean it up with - looks much better.

Anyone know what the std torque figures are on the 210/225 motors?
