What about if you wanna jack the car up? Surely the scaff boards covering the inspection pit aren't manly enough to support the weight? Or are you going to move the car to one side? Or is there a 2 poster ramp planned?
Looks good tho, wish i had a man cave like it, can't even get my car...
Double darkside.. First the 8P diesel, now the s3! What next? Thought you'd have gone for an ed30 or s3 8p tbh! Nice none the less! Needs that white strip removing tho on the door
Dolphin grey a3 "FE02" I think it was on the a38 towards Exeter this evening (Sunday) around 11pm ish. Tried very well sticking to my torquey diesel going up hill, never managed to pass me though haha. Anyone on here?
we do, but I've never seen any pictures and who wants to just read about it. A picture says a thousand words, therefore quit moaning make a build thread with pics and people might be interested. I'm sure I would be.
1. This is the reason the 8P forum is so much better, there's a guy called S3 Alex over there that gets AMD Essex to build his S3, you never see any of this childish "I built this, I built that, my nobs bigger than your nob" in that thread, it's simply appreciation.
2. No DMF won't fail if...
I'd love to see your stripped out Leon run down the strip against a standard S3, in this seasons weather, which is normally extremely wet, slippery and at times icy. Only then you'd understand where I'm coming from as the s3 bogs down and easily disappears off into the distance leaving you in a...
360 bhp on a FWD, that's mad! I don't see the point in having all that power in a front wheel drive, yours is different prawn simply due to the time effort and money you've invested.
360bhp on a Quattro and being able to get all of those 360 horses down on the Tarmac rain or shine is my...
Why would anyone want an ed30 when you could have an 8p s3? You all go on about how nice the 8p is now you've experienced one, yet the ed30 just doesn't have the edge that the Audi has.
And yes, you'll all argue over the "better performance and fun factor" yet most of people say the LCR is...
Mines mapped too, not overly much only around the 170 figure however the turbo still failed after a few months of being mapped. Think it gave up on around 68k.
Tbh I never thought I'd like a diesel as much as I do with mine, and like you have been saving for an S3. However I'm not fussed by...
I hope the turbo's been replaced, or you've budgeted for a new turbo, or you have warranty to cover said turbo, because from experience you'll probably need it.
turbo's are awful but everything else is soooooo much nicer
Looks awesome in those photos!
Should send off a few photos to Audi to show them what their beloved a3 has become, makes me wonder if you'd get a reply!
