Thx - I thought I was the only person struggling with this :) I've booked the car in, and I'm not really keen on accepting that this is how the clutch is supposed to work.
Hi all,
I'm having an issue with the clutch on my A3 ever since I bought it - I though it will iron out once I put a few miles on the clock, but it persists.
It's a bit difficult to explain - so bear with me - When I'm releasing the clutch there is a sudden drop in RPM in one point and unless...
Hi All,
I hope you are enjoying your cars,
I've noticed an extremely annoying problem - on 2 or 3 occasions GPS was quite persistent in trying to route me through a cycle path (In at least two different parts of Bristol). When it happened today I've spend 10 minutes trying to make it follow...
When I listen to radio the volume is usually at either 2 or 3... when I listen to music from my phone i usually go to around 5. Why on earth would you want to turn it up to 35 ?
Well as others have suggested - I would go to comparethemarket.
But also go and get a quote directly from the insurer's website - in my case Churchill quote from their website was £60 cheaper than the same quote through comparethemarket. Also use quidco - with a lot of insurers you can get a...
Everyone says that and still everyone has scuffed wheels :) My neighbour has resorted to not washing his car as a method of camouflaging his damaged black alloys. I think I will need a bit more time with the car to get a proper feel and get used to it - so far I feel like driving a van - I'm...
Contis as well - I think they're a 'standard issue' on S line. I'm quite fixed on PS3s as well - had very good experience with Michelin tyres in the past. It might take me quite a while to go through the current tyres - and I'm a bit worried that my current alloys won't survive that long. The S...
As you will with all other options - so why not tick every box on the option list ;)
Answering my own question from the original post - it doesn't help with kerbing the alloys but it's a handy feature to have.
Instruction does say that it might be audible and that it's normal. With all the electronic gizmos I would really recommend having a look into your manual - I feel safer knowing exactly what the gadgets are supposed to do.
Well it is, push of a button isn't as reassuring as pulling a lever. Plus I always liked to check that my handbrake is on after I got out of the car - can't do it now.
When we went to see our A3 I noticed 5 door A3 S line in Daytona going out for a test drive. I looked at the number plate and... luckily my wife has managed to stop me before I've jumped in front of the car. The car had nearly identical number plate (last letter was different - but only my wife...
I actually had it set to l/100km (It's more intuitive for me) and I did a quick conversion to mpg for you guys - that's probably why I didn't get 3 dashes. I'll have a look at this while on a highway and see whether it stabilizes.
