Ok so im skint and my mate's gone bought some black team dynamics pro race 1.2 alloys for is astra nurburgring but doesnt like, prefers the white one's he's got on.
Iv'e been wanting some of these for ages so he's offered me them for half the price but will they fit my 2000 S3?

Well had alook at the inner hub near the bolts and that says 112!

8L is 5x100 and 8P is 5x112 just for your info.

It sure is, they're nice wheels those.

Thank's boxxer but there's no point, just addign extra unsprung weight so would defeat the point in fitting them.

So my mates just phoned asking me if im still interested in his wheels and i was like yeah but im kind of jobless and plus they wont fit, he then said well his mate has drilled a fair few alloys to allow a few mm compensation to alloy various fitments etc and says they sit fine due to the larger upper sections of the locking nuts holding them.
Sounds good but could there be any downsides?

I WOULD NOT FIT ALLOYS THAT'S BEEN DRILLED DUDE!

Your mates suggestion sounds like, and is, a bodge job! Just get the correct fitment or some proper hub adaptors.
