Are there many A6 owners on here???

hi,a6 also 03 a6 1.9tdi avant auto cvt se leather cruise etc atlas grey whole family have vag cars golfs passats audis plus a few mercs

Can I throw my hat into the ring too seeing as my A6 Avant 2.4 just past its MOT last week, albeit with some work to the front bushes. Had it two years now, quieter to ride in than my dads jag and wouldn't swap it for anything.

Another one here, bought a '55 c6 A6 2.7 tdi quattro with the 6 spd tiptronic box, my first 4wd car and also my first auto.

Revelling in the space these things have, like moving into a mansion after living in a bedsit!

Can't wait for the road trip next month, off to France for a week, already thinking about all those empty country roads.

Yes I have just reveived my new A6 Quattro last month.

Went for 3.0 almost fully loaded (moment of madness). Received the first in October however they forgot the AUto Dimming mirrors and I made them change it 16weeks later I have my 2009 A6:yahoo:

Hi guys, another A6 owner to add to the list from Glasgow.
Got my 07 plate 2.0Tdi 2 years ago now and had it remapped by Audi to preserve the warranty to 176bhp. She goes very well, but I think I'd like the 3.0 quattro or the 4.2 better still to match my passion for power n speed.
Absolutely love it to bits and lavish love n attention on her all the time although I've had more than my fair share of warranty issues / problems to deal with.

See you guys around

Jim

I've been lurking for long enough - I have an '05 A6 2.4 V6 S-line saloon.

2.7 Tdi Quattro S Line here.

I quite like the S Line suspension and 19s but the roads near me are in good nick. Its got full leather, full MMI with nav, Bose with 6cd, interior and exterior light packages, upgraded climate control and the small multi function wheel. A really nice luxury car.

Another A6 owner here, A6 avant 1.8T Sport from SW london (Kingston):rockwoot:

yet another mine is a 4.2 quattro on a 1999 plate which i have had for nearly 3 years. (closest i could get to RS6 for now). i have had a few mods done by the guys at the TT shop (e.g. RS4 19's alloys, chipped, full exhaust and colour coded bumpers).
Post pictures soon

Hi all Does that make me 22? I have lost count....... I am on my second (second hand) A6 2.5 Avant 2.5 TDi - This one is a 03 Sport - very nice. My last one a '98 had done 218K miles & I did most of the service & fixing myself (except from the very technical stuff - cam belt etc). The wife also has an A4 1.9 TDI Avant - so we are all Audi now. Great engineering & quality! John C

Count me in too, is that 25/26 now lost count?
On my 3rd A6, now 2.7 TDI Quattro Saloon '06.Yes very reliable and and an excellent cruiser with no backache from long trips.Noticeably wider than the old model, used to go through the narrow road ramps at speed, with the new C6 have to slow down a bit :racer:..

Another two here!!!

2001 51 Facelift 2.5TDI Avant Sport Quattro in Racing Green Pearl and a 2008 57 3.0TDI Avant Le Mans Quattro in Daytona Grey Pearl (Piccies of the Le Mans in the sticky at the top of the A6/S6 Forum).

Can I join in too please, well once I get the damn thing running again with all these A6 owners together in once place maybe someone can help. Please read post which went on last night "A6 quattro 2.5tdi starting/fuel fault"

Cheers for any asistance

Better put me in the sam catagory as The Fiend. Blown the engine in mine (A6) but looking for another, so if anyone knows any good scrap yards or contacts, please get in touch. By the way, it's a 2.4 APS code.

Count me in too, I'm in a love/hate relationship with a 2001 1.8T Avant, silver/ black leather, RS6 alloys (not sure if reps, were on when I bought it!)
Love: interior comfort and space, long motorway journeys, stereo, handling.
Hate: ride on sh*t roads (ie most of Sheffield), oil leaks, lack of power compared to my old A4 saloon with same engine, and it's pretty thirsty..
Anyone reckon that downgrading to 17"s with a higher profile would drastically increase ride comfort without affecting the handling too badly?? :hi:

This is all new to me “I mean forums" but what the hell. Never owned an Audi before - always had VW and Vauxhalls, man am I impressed, build quality is in another world even better then my mates 520d - Picked up my new A6 2.0 Diesel 170CR Le-Man’s 2 weeks ago. Couldn’t be happy!

Awaiting collection of a 2006 A6 Avant S Line Multitronic. There does seem to be a lot of negative posts about the Multitronic box, should I be worried? This box is the 7 spd one with 'S' (Sport mode)...

Anyway.....Howdy!:blackrs4:

My multitronic has it's first 40,000 mile oil change on Thursday. Still feels very smooth with no judder at all...

I just take each day as it comes to be honest - it takes getting used to, but once you get the feel for it, it's very good...

A.

Yep, me too. Joined day before yesterday.
X-reg. A6 C5, remapped to 180 bhp. HID converted.

Count me in as well guys. Had the A6 Avant for 5 years now and best car ever owned. All my kayaking mates love it when it's my turn to drive - four boats, four boaters and loads of kit in the huge boot and still comfy in the back.
Anyone changed a heater blower before as mine now noisy after 130k clocked up!
any help appreciated.

Hi getting my A6 2.7 TDI , Q 57 plate on the 12th dec, looking forward to it.

Im in too! a6 2.5tdi 180 quattro(2000) gotta admit, it's a blinding motor only had a couple of issues like: tensioner belt pully bolt snapped and had to lierally take the whole front of the car off to get to it! a strange water type sound under the steering wheel when you accelerate hard:wtf:and the passenger door sometimes don't shut properly...wierd! there you go, think i'm number 22?
