The commodore amiga 500!!!!

I wasn't allowed an sega or Nintendo console until I left school and went to work as my dad said there not educational

But the Amiga had some quality games back in the day

I've got a Raspberry Pi 3 with most the old games/consoles on, haven't played with the new NES to compare but that's definitely a good out the box package if you don't want to mess about with setting stuff up. To be honest it didn't take much work getting my Pi to a decent standard, haven't got N64 games playing perfect yet but everything else plays great (overclocked with a few other things I've messed with).

I remember us getting our first colour TV - it was an ITT with 'Real Colour' button on it from Radio Rentals. Advertised on the telly by an Indian Chief as I recall...... We were miffed at the time (my brother & I) 'cos the man arrived to install it........ and SWITCHED OFF the cartoon we were watching at the time - Shazzam (if anyone recalls it)!! Glory days........

Howabout ZX Spectrums? Jet Set Willie was my favorite game at the time. Been a long time since I had to 'Perform a Quirkafleeg'. Still got one somewhere - and indeed a ZX81 in its original box! Or perhaps the Sinclair Cambridge calculator (still got it too, in its box.)

After my ZX Spectrum I “upgraded” to a Commodore Amiga. Still got that boxed with all the games.
