Hi Folks,

This one is driving me mad and could really do with some help.

My front right brake is binding and holding the car back. It's been getting red hot compared to the others.

I fitted new discs, pads and flexi hoses (both sides) 2 months ago which seem to have cured the issue above, but its now doing the same.

Today I took off the pads and calipers - the front right wheel could barely move before taking apart. Removed both sides - both front callipers return relatively easily with hand clamp so it does not look seized. Stainless guide pins look in good condition.

I put it back together and although it wasn't as seized the RH front was still more difficult to turn (quite a bit) than the left. Went for a drive and it is still hotter.

This led me to think it may be the metal pipe or the ABS module?

Checked the pipe for kinks looks ok and did a fault scan on ABS and no issue.

the only thing I did find is under one of the ABS measuring logs with no brake pedal my pressure is 0.65-0.8bar.

This is making me go mad as mpg is bad and the front right brake is cooking compared to the rest. At speed it judders when applying the brake.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Could it be the ABS module or the master cylinder? Or is the calliper deceiving me?

THe mechanic did last time around. This time I haven’t as its only 2 months old.

Ok thanks. Will replace fluid and report back. Really tempted just to stick a new caliper and pins
