Audi emmison recall

My motor been called into for that. Been receiving letters from them last year, throughout and finally got it done by the end of last year.

Also, got a free cleaning car kit. Nice touch of all cleaning products and cloths, in handy bag with audi logo.

This however, creates more problems than it solves, been told. Apparently, EGR valve gets f@ck'ed after the software update.
I've solved it by switching the egr off, gutting dpf and stage 1 remap. All done by @bobby singh .

Does the remap overwrite the work done by Audi to 'fix' the emissions?
 
That's why I got remap done after the recall software.
