JB4 Or DTUK ??

Hey Guys,

Sorry to probably put a total repost up about something that has been spoken about before.

But i am led to belive the DTUK box on the facelift S3 don't work that well.

I will be purchasing a JB4 i think but are these easy to install?? I know the DTUK was 10 mins but the JB4 doesn't look quite as simple?

i spent 3 months developing the files for the 310ps and as long as you read the instructions and actually listen to our advice, and don't listen to anyone else then they work very well indeed on the 300 and 310ps

The JB4 isn't as simple as the DTUK but it is far better than the DTUK, I've owned DTUK, JB1 and JB4

The reason it isn't as simple is it has more attachments as it corrects air fuel and uses the OBD port to pull data live from the ECU.

The DTUK basically just adds boost and lets the ECU try and correct the fueling which it doesn't and the car runs lean which is bad

Have you any notes on this on a web page i can read ??

I'm not slating the the DTUK box, i had one on my golf for 2 years and it was fantastic. I just want to make sure it runs fine on the facelift audi as ive only just got the car

Hi Carl, no notes as such.. They work as well on the new 310 as they do on the 300ps.

is your car manual or DSG, and as a returning customer there is some extra discount over and above the discounted website prices too

Ok mate cheers. Yeah mines the 310 audi

Its DSG. How do you go about the discount? If we have to keep this off the forum just inbox haha. I bought my dtuk box 2 years ago but i sold this on.

If you have a manual S3 be aware of the clutch!

No matter what tuning you do lol

I had the DTUK and was spot on but as @RSS-S3 says manual clutches are for stock only really. They will work very well at first but once the clutch starts to slip then that's it.
