Apologies if I'm hijacking, but I have a question about adding spacers (please note that I'm not a complete numpty, just have no spacer experience).

How would you go about wheel alignment if you have different width spacers front and rear ?

Doesn't matter the width, as far as I'm aware. The reflectors are put on the wheels and the machine calibrates to the current position.

Wheel alignment is all based on the actual angle of the wheel, not the stance.

The only issue with spacers is that you are reducing the length of thread being wound into your hub of your wheel bolts, you can normally take them 5-7.5mm maximum. That's if you don't order the proper spacers which bolt onto the hub before your wheel bolts on.

I have ecs tuning black anodized spacers and longer bolts 17.5mm rear and 10mm front but cost me a small fortune time they got imported and hit with customs I'd consider selling but hard to put a price on only on old car 1000 miles or so

Will get pics up soon as I'm home i worked away all this week

Anyone got pics with their with spacers? Coming from my previous car that was lowered I can't help but feel the s3 needs to be lowered too and spacers fitted.

Heard an increase in stones hitting off the body work? Really want 15mm on the front and 20 on the rears but petrified of stone chips with them and don't have enough cash for PPF.

Also do you need to get tracking redone for premature wear of tyres or is it just a matter of going about your business with them on?

No I havent had any stone chips as of yet I thought this before on my old S3 but I never noticed any extra chips and I'm quite picky with anything like that

Awesome. Where did you get them from mate? Got a link? Cheers.

Edit - saw the link above. Cheers :)
