Hazard lights randomly turning on

Just wondered if anyone else had this or knows the fix. Hazard lights will randomly start flashing on their own. seems to be no rhyme or logic to when it happens. I asked when it recently went in for a service at independent garage to run some diagnostics as the ESP and ABS warning lights were on dash. They said fault codes cleared and had arisen because battery had dropped below 8v, which it had. They thought this might also clear the flashing lights but it hasn't.
Any ideas? mystifying!

Dodgy Hazard light switch would be my guess. IIRC the switch has a relay in it too, which is known to fail occasionally.

Check for water under your seat.. lift up the 3" foam under the carpet and see if its wet under there

, will I need anything reset/cleared?
