Moxys glacier white s3

Well some of us have/had issues with it some don't. mine is non res system with sports cat. I had to weld mine few times, when it was quite new, drone on motorway is present, not as a perfect fitment as it should be. You would expect top quality work for the price.

Thanks for your feedback S, that's handy to know.

I'll make sure to bring it up with the remappers (Storm Devs) as £850+ is a lot of money to part ways with, especially if you're not getting the quality that you'd expect!

my issues are as follows.

1. fitment and build is appalling for the cost of the exhaust. it took me over 2 weeks on and off the ramps at my work to get this thing to fit, to what i see is a level of accuracy, yes i may be a bit ocd but i just like things to look right. Im not an home diyer, i have a bmw specialist so know what to expect from supposid quality products. Miltek is not.
2. Not really a problem as such the noise is just rubbish, i have turbo back exhaust, non resonated and my 1.2 corsa when i was 17 sounded better. My mates got a pipe werx down pipe with bcs cat back and its sounds so much deeper than the miltek!!!
Soon as i have finished getting other bits together more on my priority list, this exhaust is coming off lol .
Again this is just my 10p worth, im sure there must be many happy owners out there.

see look at that!! thats why a bcs is £1200 its beautifully crafted, ****** miltek is a piece of crap compared to that.

I know that the BCS Powervalve is obviously the superior exhaust system and the best available for the S3, however you have to pay an additional £600 (extras dependent) compared to a similar TBE from Milltek.

I'm interested in knowing why you guys aren't happy with your Milltek (sound wise) and what system you are running? TBE, CBE or DP plus whether it's De-Cat or Sports-Cat. Watching videos of exhausts is never going to be the same experience nor sound as hearing them in person, but after watching several S3 comparisons between the Milltek TBE Non-Res and BCS Powervalve TBE the difference didn't appear to be £600 worth.

I initially wanted a BCS Powervalve TBE and would love to be able to afford one, however that would add several months of saving & waiting to go stage 2 and I'm only going stage 2 as stage 2+ is such a long way off due to the funds required.. After reading countless reviews of happy S3 Milltek TBE owners, I decided to settle for a Milltek instead, especially as my local remapper does free fitment on them as well as discount.
If you could get 25bhp more from your car would you pay £600? well thats what you will get with a powervalve.

Cheers for the info. Regarding your first point, Storm Devs (who work on S3Alex's beast) will be fitting the exhaust so I'm hoping that this will at least eliminate this concern.

That looks mint mate, top notch work and you can clearly see that you get your moneys worth.

If you could get 25bhp more from your car would you pay £600? well thats what you will get with a powervalve.

Honestly if I had the funds then it would be a 100% yes a thousand times over, however I only recently spent £600 on a remap for 60bhp which equates to 1bhp = £10, whereas the BCS gets you only half of those gains for the same cost which I currently cannot afford unfortunately..

Apologies Moxy, I'll start a new thread (if others could respond to that instead please) so I don't continue to take your progress thread off course!

Miltek down pipe and decat fitted
Cam follower changed
And a full health check at amd this weekend and was pleased to hear my car is running spot on,

Next is a set of ultra leggra wheels, get the brakes on and start hitting the tracks until November then off the road, I would like it caged for next summer

Nice! How did it get on after the DSG remap? Thinking of getting mine done from AMD as its stage one but reading mixed reviews about it.

Dsg box map was cancelled due to amd said they won't be able to match my current map so Rick at unicorn will be doing both engine and box at the same time

Update time
Had the car mapped to stage 2.... Car pulled 326bhp however the mapper said it's slightly low due to dsg needs mapping so he is currently making my map for dsg. Ordered a forge catch tank system and now collecting parts to forge her in November

Car passed it first MOT couple of weeks ago, put the car on the ramps to change the oil ( millers nano drive) to see a small oil leak from the rear of the engine, so booked it straight into storm developments to have a look, turned out to be a rocker cover gasket, also while up there was talking about my build plans and they done a dsg map for me, totally changed the car, removed the forge twin take and installed a itg monster! Car is coming off the road next weekend for engine build time

Looking good dude! Love the carbon interior, have they been hydro-dipped?

Excellent.

What's planned for the engine?

And ITG definitely does the job....

Fully forged mate! I'm hoping I can raise the funds to do the turbo etc all at the same time!

That's great.

The whole thing makes a huge difference to the way the engine feels, and it can be done in stages if you need.
I'm now on my 3rd big turbo, and second exhaust manifold...LOL

I can totally recommend the Nortech kit,and anything that either Storm or AMD do for you.

I've been to storm recently and they seemed a great bunch of guys, hopefully I can pull some funds together and get the turbo done at the same time, just makes sense, so far behind with it hahah

Sweet car there! That rear end could do with license plate LEDs and a rear wiper delete ;)

Led are a must but unsure what ones to get, I don't want a error code, and going to put the new s3 rear wiper on....

I have always been a strong believer than rotors are the best looking alloy for the Audi S3, what an idiot I was!!! These are nothing but porn

Rotors do look great, bu i've always had a soft spot for graphite ultraleggeras.

Rotors are just a bit too too heavy-looking for me and slimmer spokes of these have a sort of lightness to them visually. I bet these weigh close to half of what rotors do too!

My rotors are a rare Formula of carbon and air, they were ultra light weight actually!!!!

I would have thought you would have got them in gold to go with your gold tape...
