So i have been running a PVC delete to catch can on my 2.0t fsi for more than a week. I deleted the front pvc to catch can and closed the rear pvc, problem is the catch can is still super clean and oil is coming out from the oil cap all over the engine. What is the matter with this damn engine???

Could the seal be knackered ? Or even the thread in the cap damaged?

Post some pics as others on here are far more knowledgeable than me.

It's because you've blocked the rear pcv. This shouldn't be blocked as it will cause excess pressure build up like your getting.

Good way to knacker your engine up pal.

Yes but all the pvc delete methods state that you have to close the rear pvc. And if i dont ill have the oil buildup in my turbo intercooler pipes.

Think you may have misinterpreted that mate. The rocker outlet needs to be vented but the turbo inlet needs to be blanked. If you blank the rocker cover outlet where's the excess pressure going to go?
That's your issue pal.

Ohhh explain it to me cuz im a little confused now. So i block the entrance to the turbo and vent the other side to atmosphere? Knowing that i have a catch can setup on the other end.

We are talking about this right??

So you either:

Vent both the front and rear outlets on the rocker cover, blocking the inlet to the engine and turbo.

Or you

Run the front outlet to 1 catch can and the rear outlet to another catch can, again blocking the engine and turbo inlets off.

That make sense?

Makes perfect sense. But i only have one catch can im going to vent the other end to atmosphere or can i add a third input to the catch can?

Better yet can i move the catch can setup to this side since my problem is oil buildup in intercooler pipes?

In theory you should be able to add a third inlet to the catch can an runnit that way.

Thx i will try and post results.

After reading here and there i came up with an idea ! What if i block the rear pcv and add a pressure release valve on the catch can so when the pressure builds up the valve opens and vents to atmosphere???
