"not all audi drivers are w*nkers but most w*nkers drive audi's"
Not defending him at all, but that is hardly a built up area, if that's what you mean.Clearly doesn't know how to drive as he lifts/brakes for the left curve - unnecessary!
Horrendous driving - I like to go for a blast but undertaking, and excessive speed anywhere built up, are no-no's. What a nob.
Funny how these clips always fail to show any lead-up, context or evidence of what else was going on at the time. For all we know the guy filming this had just spent the last ten miles driving like a **** himself, winding everybody up, hogging lanes, blocking the road and causing much frustration behind him.
Yes, on the face of it, it was a **** move, but don't pass sentence until you've seen the whole story.
That's the country we live in now. Pre-judgemental guilty verdicts before full collection of all the facts. Easy to make a sweeping statement, but I can pretty much guarantee the people passing judgement are trash drivers themselves.
It is I suppose, and I'm a part of this very flawed system. However, being quick to condemn someone to a ban etc when your own driving is likely trash is a different kettle of fish. My philosophy tends to be one that aligns most with Empiricism, and through my own experiences of driving in this country over others, people here drive very poorly, with little consideration for any other road drivers, or indeed the roads on which we all have to share and drive on.Is that another one of those pre-judgemental guilty verdicts?
That's not what I mean! I meant the undertaking, and the excessive speed is my other personal rule! Not defending him at all, but that is hardly a built up area, if that's what you mean.
What surprises me about some of the dashcam footage on YouTube is that the only person it shows to be an appalling driver is the owner of the car in which the camera is mounted. Who on earth goes to the effort of uploading video that reflects badly on themselves?!It is I suppose, and I'm a part of this very flawed system. Ok, agree with that. No need in that scenario. Undertaking however, is sometimes necessary depending on the scenario. That's not what I mean! I meant the undertaking, and the excessive speed is my other personal rule!

It's never necessary to undertake, certainly not in this fashion.Ok, agree with that. No need in that scenario. Undertaking however, is sometimes necessary depending on the scenario.
You've clearly never experienced anyone doing 20mph on a dual carriageway in the outer lane refusing to move over then. It's never necessary to undertake, certainly not in this fashion.
No I haven't, but by visioning up and seeing that ahead you could perform the entirely legal move of being in the inside lane and maintaining your speed, thus achieving the same objective. There's a distinction between that and undertaking. And either way this clearly wasn't the same situation as the one you describe. You've clearly never experienced anyone doing 20mph on a dual carriageway in the outer lane refusing to move over then.

Nonsense. If the inside lane is blocked further up, or visibility is restricted, you wouldn't be able to.No I haven't, but by visioning up and seeing that ahead you could perform the entirely legal move of being in the inside lane and maintaining your speed, thus achieving the same objective. Unfortunately with the dwindling amount of Traffic Police on the road you can get away with pretty much anything these days. That is just crazy driving but as has been said, there may be mitigating circumstances. Even if there was, waiting 10 seconds to overtake wouldn't have mattered in the whole scheme of things.
As you say in Germany new drivers are taught to drive not just pass the driving test as in the UK. I love driving in Germany - good roads, great autobahns and drivers who know how to drive.Nonsense. If the inside lane is blocked further up, or visibility is restricted, you wouldn't be able to.
Life is full of imperfections, and unpredictable scenarios, you just need to learn how to adapt. Which is how they're taught to drive in Germany. Unfortunately, not here, which contributes to one of the reasons as to why we have such trash drivers.
Undertaking is unlawful and DANGEROUS for a good reason - the same dawdling twit in tbe outside lane will change lanes in a similarly thoughtless fashion. Not nonsense at all, but I'll bow to your superior knowledgeNonsense. If the inside lane is blocked further up, or visibility is restricted, you wouldn't be able to.

So is staying in the outside lane when there is room to move over. Keep to nearside lane except when overtaking springs to mind. This is the main reason why drivers undertake. The same twit may well pull out in to the outside lane without looking in a similar thoughtless fashion. Any changing lanes needs care and attention.Undertaking is unlawful and DANGEROUS for a good reason - the same dawdling twit in tbe outside lane will change lanes in a similarly thoughtless fashion. Absolutely. I've only been cut up by someone once there on the autobahn, and surprise surprise he had a GB plate on the car.As you say in Germany new drivers are taught to drive not just pass the driving test as in the UK. I love driving in Germany - good roads, great autobahns and drivers who know how to drive.
You clearly don't drive enough, or lack the understanding of my very simple example.Undertaking is unlawful and DANGEROUS for a good reason - the same dawdling twit in tbe outside lane will change lanes in a similarly thoughtless fashion. Not nonsense at all, but I'll bow to your superior knowledge
terrible driving. Had a similar issue with some moron the other day that did the exact same thing at a similar speed but in much heavier traffic on the m4 near Slough in rush in the morning . They were driving a Renault I think. Idiot
