So, had my car detailed the other day, so the S3 badge was visible again after the filthy weather/grit/dust/dirt etc had been hiding it for the past 6 months.
Now, normally after the S3 badge is visible again, I notice a difference in the distance the cars behind give me. However, there's always categories of drivers which never seem to back off. Most noticeably:
- Fiesta chavs
- BMW 116D/118D bints,
- Middle aged/old incompetents in Skoda's
- Women who don't know the difference between a fast/slow car.
I seem to get tailgated more and more regularly now, and it's become more apparent over the past year. Through villages, I'll drive no more than the speed limit for example, yet it never seems to be fast enough for these imbeciles.
Just wondering how many of you get tailgated on a regular basis by morons? I've already had two people go into the back of the car in the past year or so, and so it's made me extra paranoid about the distances between the bumper and said car.
I'm considering getting a rear dashcam and sending some footage off to the rozzers, as it's getting a bit silly now.
