Hi
Going to get the wheels refurbed for Spring (one of them got marked)

What would you go for on this

Plain Silver
Anthercite
Hyper Silver
Shadow Chrome

Your input would be appreciated

Not sure on black, can look a bit like you haven't cleaned your wheels
Anthercite could be the way forward

I did have a black avant once which I slammed, with black wheels and limo windows
Didn't keep it long, wasnt keen on the murdered look lol
Now I have a hair dressers car

Hyper silver for me, that's the colour I'd mine refurbed in a few weeks ago. Bit fancier than just standard silver

Black wheels look terrible more often than not imo.

I do love silver wheels but I also love Matt Gunmetal Grey....

A neighbour of mine had a Silver cab like yours with the same alloys on in Matt Gunmetal Grey and it looked nice.

Standard audi satin charcoal as found on the final edition B7 cabs IMO, really suits the silver. I am biased mind you.

I had mine black instantly regretted it spent another £200 getting them back in silver. My advice would be go for silver then just plasti dip them if you want a change. These alloys are really nice and make the car stand out in my opinion and have to be silver.

different wheel patterns and sizes for that matter will all look different in the same colour, wheels that have a larger surface area don't look as good in the darker colours and in the smaller diameter size, whereas thinner spoke patterns or very open pattern rims can get away with darker colours as there is less surface area showing the actual colour, yet another optical illusion that wheels and colours play on the eye...
have you considered Graphite color, darker than silver etc but not as dark as gunmetal and those shades...just my input.

Yes, 18s mate, probably not the best pic right enough, it's at bit of a funny angle, this one's maybe a bit better.

I do like black wheels, got them on my blue SQ5, but decided the silver A4 wouldn't suit them. The A4 had silver ronals on it when I got it but I really liked the look of the final edition cabs with the matt RS4 style and couldn't rest until I got hold of a set.

It's all down to personal taste but I genuinely think you can't go wrong with the original audi satin charcoal (not as dark as anthracite), best combo on a silver cab - IMO

My opinion - don't go for dark color as look like no wheels in the car !
Dark grey is max but then you got black, silver and grey colors on your car which look different !
DON'T MAKE THEM MATT as they are clean really hard if you use your car daily - don't ask me how i know
Your car look amazing as it is so just refurb them in Oem color

Some cars really suit dark wheels though, the first one I had with black wheels was a scooby GB270 wagon, only 100 built, never saw another, cracking car, except for the shxt brakes and stereo. Chopped it in for the A4, nice with the silver wheels but looks way better with the grey.

I had a 2006 legacy 3.0 spec b before my avant, great piece of kit just wasn't as refined as the a4 though, totally bonkers performance with some mild tuning..

Personally I would go with a hyper silver or some kind of light grey/metal with these wheels. I think black alloys sometimes hide how nice the wheels are. Fresh silver rims really pop and can make the car stand out.

I think a bright silver or shadow chrome

Tried a couple of wheels next to it at a refurber today.
