Hi guys

Just popping this up before I take a plunge in the wrong direction

So first things first, a bit of background. Its a 2.0 tdi pd140 which has a stage one map on it, its also at 97k miles and is on first clutch etc.

Its having issues with the selection of 1st and reverse as well as some occasional creep in 1st. Its also tends to be quite hard to get out of 1st and reverse. Generally if I pop it into 3rd and then try again the issue is solved.

Any ideas guys? My local garage went straight to new clutch and DMF when I mentioned this, however others I've spoken to said it just an aligment issue or a leaky slave.

Cheers

Think you might be bang on with that. Doesnt look like somthing do able on a drive way?

If its a garage job I guess its best if I just do the clutch and dmf while I'm at it. Know any where good to get the kit from? Darkside seem to be the best bet at the momment

It's a gearbox out job. Best to do whole lot at once since the gearbox will be out. Look a bit around for a best price for parts.

Have to let me know the outcome, mines been doing this for 3 months, since having a new clutch and flywheel fitted, had a new master and slave/release bearing, still the same, driving me mad, does your clutch pedal change bike point if you ride the clutch in 1st (when in slow moving traffic)
