@Brasso - Stunning S4 Avant buddy !So after all of the final paperwork and bits and pieces I have collected my new S4. I'll write up my first thoughts later but as a very first impression WOW, and the dealer prep was very good - but they do know how picky I am. This is only the second S4 the dealer has delivered the first being on the 2nd December.
I'm sure your all keen to see some photos so here they are. One comment on the photos the interior is slightly darker in real life the photos make it look lighter than it really is.
It's being detailed on the 19th so more photos will follow then.

Great write up too !
I'm assuming those are the S4 option only 19" wheels?
+1 on this ^You didn't ask for advice but I'll give it anyway: Don't 'baby' the engine. Whilst I don't advocate thrashing a new engine, nor is taking it really easy for hundreds of miles a good idea either. Although apparently wearing in the piston rings happens quite quickly, I and many others subscribe to the so-called 'Motoman' method of break-in. That is once every journey find a piece of open road without traffic and accelerate up to around 5K in a low gear. Then use engine braking only to slow down as much as possible. You don't want to change gear so put the 'box in M. I haven't found anyone who used this method admit that their engine uses any oil.
