Took my 28 day old A4 for a spin down to Peterborough yesterday. Along the A16 between Spalding and Peterborough the Sat Nav was showing that I was driving through a ploughed field!
Now, I know that this road has been in existence for some 4 years.
The dealer says "Sorry but the car came with the latest maps".
Really?
 
If you have the technology pack, not sd card based as you cannot upgrade the maps. Check your map version number within the mmi, if it isn't 2016-2017, then goto my audi, login and download the newer map onto an sd card no larger than 32gb. You'll need java to do this...

That's very strange, because I travel down the A16 from Spalding to Peterborough every day - (MY17: picked up 4/9/16). My map for that 'new' road is spot on. I have occasionally come across roundabouts on other roads around the country that aren't showing on the map, but the A16 is certainly there. I have MMI Plus; Map Europe 2016/2017. Under System Maintenance Version info, my Navigation database version is V03959801FB 0153 ECE 2016/2017.

Yeah, thats the version I have. Collected mine from Boston Audi on the 1st.
If you've been travelling that road for some time you will probably know that a few years back a section of it collapsed and was closed for a great many months. THAT'S the bit that shows me driving through a field!
 
Just been out to the car to double check the version on my car...only to find that I cant now find it in the menus!
Dont know whether its under `Car` or `Map` or `Nav`.
I really am a dunce at this kinda stuff.
 
I think it is under car settings somewhere, I am at work at the mo so I can't check...
 
Cute - and the best thing is instead of the dealer suggesting how to report it - they just say sorry! Might be worth a call into Audi UK to find out how you feed that back.

I got my a3 with sd based nav - I know I know silly me - in October 2014. Some of the local roads are showing with speed limits that were more than 6 years out of date then. Audi want silly money for a map update that might have the right values.
