yourAudi - Track New Car Order

My car must have been on a very slow boat from Germany but it has now "arrived in the UK"

Just moved into transit today! :) Does anyone know rough time frames for Ingolstadt to UK and then UK to dealer? And how long does the dealer hold it for?

Dealer told me yesterday could be a week or could be quicker.. Problem is the new registrations so they're going to be super busy. Even if it arrives at the dealer in time it could be held up there. Bristol Audi said if they are really busy cars then divert to Newport for checks..

collect from dealer in 23 hours - think I have one of the 1st 2.0 TFSI 190. Direct Line can't find the car to transfer my insurance.

Pick up day today, well at midnight so probably technically tomorrow. It's been a long wait!

Been told now that earliest collection is Saturday morning as the car is still sat at the port waiting for the transporter (12 days now), was hoping for tomorrow but not looking likely

Audi told me that if you weren't bothered about miles on your car they can drive it to the dealer which is much quicker

Hi All,

My car delivery status is stuck from Friday 26th . anyone have idea when it will be delivered to UK ?

Mines the same and has been for a week. Got a call yesterday from Audi saying my car has "exit release" which means it's being shipped.. That's all they could tell me this stage

Normally takes just over a day from port to port.

More than likely a combination of being stuck in a port with customs and paperwork..then getting it from the port to the dealer can take time and then pre checks at the dealership can take forever if they have a tonne of cars come in.. I need mine NOW!!

Customs....? we're still in the EU, no customs between UK and Germany yet surly?

Apparently it can take more than 2 weeks to get from Ingolstadt, it just depends on a number of factors. I've heard it taking less on occasions but that is less likely

That says invalid VIN for me. It is the MyAudi website that needs a VIN. I've already got the car on the YourAudi website. Why there are two I dont know!

My order moved to panel shop this morning, a week early. This should be one of the first down the line equipped with matrix LED's which was a concern since I had been told that they weren't being built before October, a date later revised to week 36.

Anyone on a week 38 build week? Mine's for an S1, but the S1 forum doesn't see much action so figured I'd follow this thread instead!

Ordered to Coventry Audi on 19/7/16 - mine went to In Preparation yesterday. Desperately need the car ASAP as I have no car at the moment (old car sold way quicker than expected) and 40 miles a day commuting on a sports bike come rain or shine isn't ideal so hoping it gets moved forward slightly, but at the same time, it'll be worth it in the end I guess!

It's a waiting game I'm afraid and from reading all the threads there is not pre set time.. Audi loves to say 4 weeks for everything which seems to cover all areas.. Not having a go as they have been awesome and I've used them for over 8 years now.. But 4 weeks until it goes to QC then that can be up to a week then then they say your can will be delivered with 4 weeks.. My order was 07/07 and it's now coming up to 8 weeks next week and been told it's just gone on a ship (I hope) last Tuesday

I'm currently on orderstatus: 38. What does that mean? I know 30 means left Inglstadt and 39 means arrived in the UK but does that mean it's on the boat? Or waiting to get a boat?

I'm not about order statuses? All I knew was build week.. Where did you get that info from

I'm also on status 38. I called Audi Customer Services today (figured my dealer would be somewhat busy today!) and they said my car has been at Emden for 3 days and waiting to be assigned a ship. They said it can take 7-14 days to get on a ship after arriving at Emden, but usually less than 7. They want to cover themselves. Still being quoted 'mid - end of September' for pick up. I assume yours and ChivsBang's cars are in the same position as me.

Yes think they are...Sure he said Mid Sept pick up, but he said it might come sooner which i was kinda hoping....

I was told exactly the same for mine but probably will be shipped over next week!
 
Im on status 38 too :) hopefully be assigned to a ship soon
