Bit of a spit and polish on the wife's car

Day off work today and thought I would treat the Mrs to a very quick car wash, plus it helps me get rid of a few bits before Waxstock this weekend.

Usual wash and decon process, dried with a Gyeon silk drier towel, then the MetroVac, followed by two coats of Sonax BSD on the bodywork and Gyeon tyre dressing. The car is only a couple of months old, so no need for compounding/polishing yet..........

Didn't get any "during" shots, but here's the finished job

Nice reflection...

and the sun came out, just in time to show off the flake in the paint....love this colour

My car will be getting the works tomorrow, ready for Waxstock on Sunday.

Everything at Waxstock will be "half-price" Sandra, you know, just like when you women go shoe shopping

The official colour is Java green. It does look good on the TT and is really quite unique.

Iv got quite a shopping list for Waxstock, so it's gonna be an expensive shopping trip, but that's the price you pay to keep your car in top shape.

Gonna clean my car today, can't go to Waxstock with a dirty car!

You're right it is exclusive and Audi being Audi, they charge a small fortune for it too! Worth it though, especially when you see it in the flesh, it is a proper head turner.
