Hi guys,
I've just bought my 1st ever Audi.. An 08 plate A4 S line 2.0 tdi estate 125 k on the clock. 1 thing that has me puzzled though..i had a puncture last week and the wheel bolts were too long for the space saver.i had to fit washers inbetween the wheel bolts and the wheel to get me to work. is this normal?

Welcome to audi-sport.net. Very nice car. Is it silver or Akoya, its hard to tell from the pic. Ask your question about your wheel bolts and space saver over in the A4 section. Hope you enjoy the forum. :) x

That most certainly does NOT seem 'normal' and I'd check with your local Audi dealer asap as that is most certainly a 'safety issue' and in the event of an accident with that arrangement fitted I think you'd have some and/or a lot of explaining to do; I readily accept Audi have issues at times but I'm sure that'll not be one of 'em; go check...

Welcome to the forum.
A previous owner has had wheel spacers on the car, hence the longer bolts. This is a good example of never throw anything out and always keep the standard fittings.
You will either need spacers fitted or, a set of standard length bolts. Your fronts seem to fill the arches but, the rears look to be set in further.
Was it a rear puncture...?

No.it was a front wheel that burst. I had to remove the wheel spacer as the space saver didn't fit with it on. But then the bolts were too long..
