so, last night my friend in a CLK 55 AMG (370hp) couldn't touch my S3.
id like to say it was neck and neck, knowing his car is quick...but no, it was a breeze to get past.

his response was, "that thing is F#&*ing fast" and "It sounds like you're running mental boost, the noise it makes is insane"...

needless to say, I'm very happy with that. not had my S3 on the rollers yet, and actually I'm looking for more power since I've fitted the dtuk, but deep down I'm certainly impressed with how it goes. I'm just looking at new turbos now.

the power from the DTUK is just superb and the noise since modifying my intake is great. I love the comments it receives!

Nice one RO65ERS..:racer:
Just a quick question...
Are you on a pcp deal? and if so how are you getting round the issues of warranty and servicing with the dealer with all the mods you have done?
Sorry if it's a daft question mate....lol:salute:

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Mercedes are like the majority of middle aged men..........carrying far too much timber. Easy prey them Mercs except those with enormous engines (and pricetags).

Yes I'm on a PCP deal - which I've now decided already to buy out at the end of the contract.
my currant mods are only the intake, (which they will only see if they decide to take things apart - which they have no need to.) and the DTUK box, which will be removed before visiting the dealer.

whilst I'm now looking to chase more power - this won't be until my PCP final payment has been brought out at the end of the 3 year cpp deal.
If and when i decide which exhaust i would like (mostly likely BCS) i will only go cat back, and be aware this this will void the exhaust warranty, and won't add the decat until, again the end of the PCP deal as at this time there will be no warranty.

If you read a 'few' of the rumour threads, dealers are not taking orders on any A3 derivatives. And a few saying they couldn't order an RS3 as the 'run' in the factory had been completed. No new orders.
Obviously, rumour rumour and more rumour.
As Simon said, the TTS would have got you pelters. :boxing:

Just done a quick configuration on line and this is what I came up with:
Detail view
Your RS 3 Sportback
Navigation 2.5 TFSI quattro S tronic1

  • Basic price
  • 39,620.00 GBP
  • Optional equipment
  • 1,545.00 GBP
  • Price 2
  • 41,165.00 GBP
  • ROTR
  • 42,350.00 GBP

The only options I went for was the colour(Glacier white of course) and Mag. ride
These were the only options that were important for me.....
If only they had the saloon version... I would be at the dealers straight away....:blownose:

Are you sure the RS3 isn't too fast for the winding narrow scotch country roads? ;)

(Actually don't remember so many country road accidents during any trip of my life as when driving through Scottish Highlands...)

I assume you'll get a real good Christmas present from your (car dealer) son this year...

Very nice ! - do the rear mats also have the retention clip in ? Most I've seen only have it in the front. If so, any chance of a link ?

Now they look a heck of a lot better than any others I've seen. Can you tell us where you bought them?
http://www.autostyle.co.uk
Select A3/S3 2012 onwards, choose colour (mine are Anthracite with grey edge) and load a jpg of the S3 logo and choose top, bottom or side for location (mine are bottom).
The rear mats don't have the locators, but, they are decent for using in the winter to protect the original mats. Well worth the money in my opinion.
