Painted my tail pipes!

Cerakote ceramic coating would be a good option. I notice that Milltek have just started offering this and have called it their 'Black Velvet' range :-

i have got access to a bodyshop which could do this if i wanted.
i have enjoyed doing it my way though, and its always good to be different.

its looking alright a few miles on tbh, and its holding up well. I've done around 200 miles with them and no chips as yet! the colour they've turned goes well with the defuser, which isn't too bad, i want too keen on the chrome at the end of the day. whats the point in a BSP if they leave chrome on the vehicle!

thanks for posting your work!
love the looks without the chrome exhaust tips.

the grill S3 logo in red looks

thanks!

the S3 works quite well actually. Yeah ok, its pink on the badge instead of red, but the S3 is a purple, which when the sun is out it looks the same colour as my panther black paintwork! didn't plan it that way but its kinda cool IMO.

as said though, i have got a new badge if i don't like it.

I also have access to having this done but my car has the chrome trim so I'm not sure if this would look ok or not? I don't like how quickly the chrome tips get sooty especially the two inner ones...Grrrr

I don't know to be honest ha think it might be around £50/£60. I just sent my tips to get done as they were pitted and awful, they had only done 3000 miles. I like the look of ceramic and think it will look great on these tips.

Painted the diffuser on the "6" and got ceramic coat on the tips. Tips cost £50

Diffuser needs to be hi gloss so that it can contrast with the tips, or they'd get lost looking at them

Could you provide details of the company that done this?

I can ask if he wants more business, I'll let you know. Do you have Instagram @drjim1 ?
