RS3 8V Orders List

Plus of course, no matter what car or number plate you have, the biggest hit will always be in the first three or four years for depreciation.

On the verge of ordering one of these beauts. Have to wait a little for the finances to catch up.
Spoken to one guy that said there was a 14 month waiting list for one - Anyone know more about that?

That's rubbish. They are in short supply but I reckon 5/6 months should do it unless you want a pre-order . Where are you based?

This was a second hand dealer from my first enquiries - probably just wanted to make the sale!
I've not spoken to a dealer about a new one yet, but will do this week.

Rumour has it they will stop production shortly followed by a gap before facelift version arrives later in 2016 or early 2017. That may delay things ;)

TX.

All I know is the RS3 still appears to be a VERY elite club of owners :)

Not only are the wait times incredibly long, they don't appear to be getting any shorter and with the possibility of a break between build of the current model and facelift this will no doubt keep waiting times very lengthy.

I ordered at the beginning of August so 5 months ago and I have monitored that order on the Audi tracker and still am and to this day it still does not have a build date. My Dealer managed to allocate me a cancelled slot a few weeks back and my car goes into build 1st Feb. Had I not got the cancelled slot I dread to think when I might take delivery. As things stand I will have waited 7 months if I take delivery early March which is long enough !!

I am so pleased I am nearing the end of my wait - it has been a marathon - but I am more than certain this car will be worth the wait oh yeah :)

Where is the source of this rumour TX? :frown: I am in a difficult position now, financially I won't be ready for the car until March - June 2017 because I am working through an apprenticeship. I were getting ready to place an order around July maybe a little later to get the car for then.
This has really made things difficult deciding when I should be ordering. Do you think they will fulfil all previous pre-facelift orders and start a fresh with the facelift later this year?
:blownose:
Personally I doubted a facelift RS3, it isn't too common they facelift an RS model if I am thinking right? Anyway, if there is any sign of a Saloon being released I am 99% sure I would hold off for that, the renders look pretty good.

RS3 Sedan has been confirmed at least for the American market, stands to reason it would come to the European market and then presuming there's no issue with RHD RS3 sedan that it would be offered for sale in the UK market, providing the factory would be able to commit to reasonable production allocation. If Neckarsulm can only produce a small number of RS3 sedan RHD most likley Audi UK wouldn't bother offering sportback or sedan, it would just be one or the other.

Where has this been confirmed to? :) Personally looking at even the more realistic of renders, the saloon as it stands is my favourite.. I have always preferred my grandparents S Line A3 saloon too my A3 S Line Hatchback... but then again, I would be far from disappointed if I had an RS3 Hatch :hubbahubba:

Scott Keogh CEO of Audi USA confirmed it a while back for the North American market. Not been confirmed for the European or elsewhere markets at the moment, but I think most likely it won't be in production until the facelift as the factory already has too many orders of the RS3 to even consider trying to fit RS3 sedan sales.

Oh right, at least that is a step closer to the possibility of us seeing it. If this so called production gap rings true I'm not sure when it will happen, surely orders should have stopped long before now if that was the case? I would of thought they have the next 6-8 months maximised the way orders are dragging out still.

I don't believe there will be much of a production gap if any at all. It's not a new model that they have to shut down and retool for it's just things like the headlamps which are manufactured outside of the assembly line anyway.

Put in an order on Sunday, just waiting on an order number to track it, but I was given an estimated delivery date of 30/04 hopefully that actually happens, but who knows a this stage.

My local French dealer has confirmed a saloon RS3 next year.

I placed an order this week and have been told I can expect a June delivery - this is important as my S3 goes back to the lease company on 29th June. Spec as follows;

Nardo grey
Titanium alloys
Black and rock grey supersport seats
Black styling pack + mirrors
Dynamic and comfort/sound packs
Privacy glass
Red calipers

I've had a couple of S3's (8P and 8V) and looking forward to my first Audi RS series car

Rich.

Did you manage to get any discount on a factory order?

Just under 6%. A dealer some distance from me quoted initially and my local dealer matched it.

I also had an offer via Carwow with a 2% discount

Hi all,

First post on here so will make it brief.

Took the plunge a week past Sunday and ordered myself an rs3.

Initially had gone for titanium alloys and lunar silver sports seats but had been toying with the idea of a few more options, but disregarded them as I'll only use the car 1 or maybe 2 days a week. A few days past and felt like I'd regret not having them so decided to add on a couple and final spec is as follows.

Nardo Grey
Lunar sports seats
Titanium alloys
Black pack
Bang and olufsen
Folding mirrors

Considered the dynamic pack but really don't feel the need for it although I'm sure many would say it's a must. The car I test drove didn't have it and it felt and sounded great, so will do just fine for me.

Now just the long wait until June. Still awaiting order number to get logged in to track it, which I'm sure will end up being constantly refreshed until it arrives.

Cheers, steve

Haha knew something along those lines was coming. Give as good as you get I guess. Only other colour I'd have chosen would have been sepang. Never been a fan of black on cars, but I've no doubt it'll look cracking. Is it crystal? (didn't even look at the other colours  nardo)

Picked my car up last Friday, had the tints done and the roof.

Glacier looks good on A3 8V... Not sure about the roof. Was tempted to do my wife's which also had pano roof. Maybe it would look better in my eyes if spoiler was done as well or stopped at back of roof. Just my 2p. Nice though!

Photos are a bit hard to go off, but the black on the spoiler is the way the roof line goes into the spoiler. In person the spoiler really stands out due to the indentation. Each to their own I suppose but I don't mind it...

Took mine 3 weeks to collection date from build week.

TX.

And me 3-days from being persuaded to drive one, finding the only two available here in the UK (October 2011), and buying one of 'em

Still a very H A P P Y Audi RS3 owner driver; nothing else ticks all of my motoring boxes

Rather than start a new thread as it must have been asked before. My RS3 order was marked as in transit yesterday. Whats a rough ETA for these things getting to the dealership after being in transit?

Agree with hood about the temptation.. looked at an RS4 Avant ... but do I want a big car again after years in A6/A7 etc... not really.. the handling and agility of the RS3 is what I want now... 8 sleeps to go (being delivered on 29th!)
