Hi all, will let the pics and HD video do the talking for this one. Word is the dealership inflicted this.

A brand new Audi S3 saloon in black, just over 1,000 miles on the clock and completely mullered. Results weren't perfect but a vast improvement compared to it's arrival.

Finished in Bouncer's 22 and Zaino Z6.

Interior vacummed with Auto Finesse and Chemical Guys products.

Wheels and tyres - Sonax NPT and Fireball Ultimate tyre coating.

Exhausts polished with Mothers products.

Gtechniq for exterior glass.

Enjoy!

HD Video.

Stunning work. I can only imagine that car has been washed a few times by the dealer...that or they really went to town on it during the prep!!

Great turnaround Daryl :thumbs up:

Another reason NOT to let ANY Dealer prep / clean your car

:yahoo:It's unbelievable that a wash and vac at the dealers can do so much damage. They must be using worn out sponges, dirty water and it's not been rinsed in any way shape or form before they run the sponge over it! Terrible! But, a great turnaround.

I'd be sending Audi the bill! or at the least be sending the before and after pictures to Audi UK!!! It's not a good advertisement for them that a BRAND NEW car it delivered in that state!!!

When I was ordering my car I had the painful experience of watching a guy at the dealer giving the cars on the forecourt a quick spruce up. He had a shammy and a bucket with about 6 inches of black water in it. Watched him do about five cars, bodywork, windows, wheels. Made me shudder.

They may as well be using sanding paper if they are doing that. Aren't these guys trained. I know where at ford we have an auto tech area where they check them over before going to the dealers. Maybe these guys need to sign up to learn a thing or to.

I cant believe that much mayhem was done by a quick spruce up by dealers apprentice before customer turned up. Thats a good few trips through a machine that?????

Its my car! Brilliant job Daryl thanks again.

The car was supplied by the dealer with some really bad damage to the boot. As if a strap had been rubbing against it. I let Audi collect the car to rectify it. They said they were going to get their external body shop guy to come in and give it a mop. Well - he did... and didn't wash it first by the looks of things! When I got the car back it was clear that he may have given it a very quick jet wash but that's it. wheels not cleaned, glass not cleaned and swirl marks like you wouldn't believe (well you've seen the pictures!)
The dealership did pay for it after a nightmare few days arguing back and forth. But its done now and I cannot recommend Daryl's work enough. Top guy :)

Ah DiS (Dealer installed Swirls). I cannot believe dealers are still 'washing' cars this way.

When I bought a brand new A3 back in 2009, I refused to allow them to 'prepare it' prior to handover (other than the usual PDI) despite being advised that the dealer had professional 'detailers' in-house.

The end result was that my handover happened round the back of the dealership like some backstreet drug deal because the dealer didn't want any other potential buyers to see a 'dirty' (but brand new) car being handed over.

Pros: No DiS and minimum effort future detailing
Cons: Joy of handover day trashed

* Car was sold eight months ago with a glowing recommendation on it's condition!
