So after a long search I finally found the S3 I was after and very local to me which was awesome.

The S3 I bought is a 2011 Black Edition with s-tronic gearbox. Some pic's since progress treads with no pic's are useless haha:

Plan's for the car just now are:
Fit an RS3 grill
Carbon wrap or dip the mirrors
Fit a custom plate bracket
Look into Stage 2+
Look into brake kit
Look into adding a TTE420 turbo once stage 2+

Hopefully I will get better pictures once the weather has cleared up a bit and keep this updated with all the different changes

I like the rims :)

You could leave the rest alone and enjoy it for a while ...

Yea I won't be doing much any time soon due to funds haha. Grill will be done soon though since I love the look it gives, possibly h&r springs also. That list is to be stretched over a course of 2-3 years so will enjoy the car as it is for now. The launch and acceleration is amazing as it is, couldn't imagine what stage 2+ would feel like

So got all my bulbs changed over to LED's including number plate one's which I got off ebay and don't throw any error codes. bit disappointed in the fact I had to file down the edges on them to make them fit tho.

Got my RS3 grill ordered now :) hopefully have that fitted soon :)

Small update, got wind deflectors on and RS grill

With RS Grill fitted at Elgin Show and Shine:

Would you like to sell your original grill?

Got some 5D carbon wrap which actually looks awesome and pretty similar to the real stuff imo. So did my front lower splitter and tempted to do my mirrors but not sure if I have the experience yet haha. be worth a go tho

Nice job mate the carbon wrapping looks nice

So this is long long over due haha

So... since my last update I have lowered the car on H&R Springs, Fitted a powerwerx sports cat, Loba HPFP and Ramair intake

Annoyingly a couple mice decided to destroy my ramair intake and screw up my MAF costing me £100+

After all that I started on a couple cosmetic mods such as wrapping the brakes and started doing the engine cover, close to finishing

Then I went to Ecotune for Stage 2+ and seen a very familiar car that actually half inspired me to buy and tune the Audi S3 @LiamS3

Need more pics for sure haha

Things still left to do are fit coilovers for better drop, gloss black the mirrors, carbon diffuser and couple over small bits and bobs

That was a nice car. I wanted green at the time but the wife said I could only white. So glad I got a S3 as well now

I thought I read that right. Will a caliper not get hot enough to melt a wrap?

Liking the calipers, what did you use to wrap them?
I used Monster Wraps brake wrap kit. Only place in the UK I could find them without paying stupid amount getting them over from America

No thankfully haha. These are specially designed to take the heat. Same sort of material as some brake kit developers/manufacturers use for putting logo's/name's on their brakes. And if anything applying more heat makes them stick to the caliper better since heat is required to stretch it over those difficult corners

That's alright then. Sounds really awkward though, did you need to take the calipers right off? Was the actual wrap expensive?

I got the wrap during black friday so no but they are roughly £35 if I remember right. No didn't have to remove it. Just heated it up, stretched it over and did it in two different parts, inner then outer part

Nice looking S3 mate, it's coming along great.

Thanks for the information on Monster Wraps, that's saved me a lot of time, money and hassle! I wanted to get the brake calipers done red but not sure if the reflective would be OTT for my black S3 (your thoughts?) Need to see if I can find any pictures, if not then I may just go for the black wrap instead.

Thanks for the pictures, as expected they're a tad too ballsy (very rare I say that!) for my black S3. I will go with the black wrap instead, despite it saying (white reflective) even though there's a seperate white wrap option..?

Just seen that they do a gloss film light tinting kit as well which I'm tempted to get, only thing is they don't come pre-cut like Lamin-x from the US does.

Yea black will still look really smart. Yea I just went for a roll of tint off ebay, far cheaper for a lot more tint, admittedly I'll need to cut it myself but I was about £7 for 1.5 metres which is enough for both headlights and fair bit left over. I'd show you pics of mine once it's done but waiting till after my MOT in case they kick up a stink about the tinted headlights

Cool sounds good, looking forward to seeing the results!

I take that it was just a standard application using soapy water and a heat gun/hairdryer?

It depends, some people will apply it dry others using water. I'll probably opt for the water option then your 100% all the air has been pushed out

So had my first time down at Crail and best time of the day was a 12.53 which for slightly damp conditions was pretty good. I technically came 3rd overall in my category but Crail's timing system didn't upload most of the runs made that day.

I did about 7 runs and only 1 was uploaded :( the 1 they did upload had to be me getting my *** whooped by a high powered approx 600bhp GTR running an 11.6 against my 12.6. Out launched him and half way down the run when I just see a black GTR just aggressively come on boost and fly by but GTR was shocked at how quick I started off. Good day overall but can't wait for a sunny dry day to see if I can edge into 12.4 or a 12.3 at a push

Nice motor. Talking of cosmetics... I think the chrome surrounds on the fogs would look good. The grills are plug & play apparently

I'm loving it so far but want more haha. Managed to source discharge and charge pipes, got a intercooler hopefully lined up and cat-back exhaust. Possibly looking into WMI kit & RFD. Seeing how much I get get out of this K04 turbo even if it breaks, sort of hope it does since then it's a good reason for a TTE420 haha

I've been looking for the chrome surrounds but I can't seem to source them from anywhere. Only came on the standard version's of the S3 and not the black edition's

Have you fitted the tinted film over your headlights yet bud?

That made me laugh reading that, not sure I've ever seen someone wishing their turbo would break!

No MOT's not due till end of next month so will get them on after that.

Yea I know haha. Fingers crossed it doesn't as I'm aiming to see if I can get among the fastest S3's on stock K04 turbo in the UK

Sounds awesome, good luck!
