Can't find a finance calculator online but does anyone know what I'd pay per month roughly on PCP for a 47k car?

Deposit £6000
Miles per year 8,000
48 months
47k car.

What would I be looking at per month? Are there discounts available?

And then go to http://pcpcal.co.uk and adjust the retail price up to £47k

Cheers was searching high and low, not sure if it's because I'm on the mobile website

No worries.
You have to go to the finance part of the website then select the model, can't go to RS3 then finance like on other models. I did the above on my mobile.

Ah right, looks like £450 a month, that's ****** good my A45 was 5k less list price yet over £100 a month more than that.
Was offered a 62k individual coloured F80 M3 with the same term and deposit for £550 a month.
Not sure what to do now lol

Ah my bad I'd read the wrong APR and put that in, yep £587 per month.
That makes things difficult, the new M3 is actually cheaper with the discounts BMW are throwing around, comes with bags of standard spec aswell hmmmm

No idea what current discounts are available on the RS3? The M3 would definitely be tempting if it's cheaper!

I've been told by three dealers that up to 17% discount is availble on F80 M3/4's that's on an individual colour with a fair few options.

What options is that with on the M3 Chaz? Make sure you add M HUD and HK sound

Look at Halifax for car finance.. 4.2% APR ... As for a discounted BMW... not for me I hate current stuff!

Options were individual blue, HUD, HK, privacy glass, black wheels, DCT and that's pretty much it they come so well specced as standard it's unreal

Would also throw in carbon interior mate, gives the inside a bit of a lift

Tbh the M3 is in a different league but just my opinion and I have an RS3 on order
That's a lot of car for 550 per month

That deal is only if you have a Halifax current account for min 3 months

Ive recently sold my 4mth old M3 and have an RS3 due in March.
Looks wise M3 wins but for everyday driving and getting the power down in anything other than bone dry conditions the Quattro wins hands down.
Cabin wise the Audi is as good I would say.
When the M3/4 goes 4wd I may return.

Yes even with my old M135i getting power down was difficult, I remember once on cold dry roads seeing the TC light in a straight line whilst doing 50 mph.
The F80 just looks so much better though! And when it is dry it flys

What power has it got? Had a M3 or 4 pull in behind me a while back and it did sound good, he approached quietly then hit the M button!

TX.

Can't remember i think there around 430 bhp although 99% of them that have been dyno'd have put out high 400's I've seen a Vbox of my mates M4 and it done an 8.6 100-200 kph which is ****** quick even my stage 1 A45 was nearly a second off that

BMW cabin is one of the things I hate most. Tacky with a capital T !

Not very tactile. Naff steering wheel and air vents..just appears low rent in comparison to Audi. Just my opinion but this is an Audi forum so I expect the majority will agree.

I'm in the minority then, nothing wrong with that interior at all, I'd have one in a heart beat :)

I had same steering wheels in my old m135i thought it was lovely and so much nicer than the last style it was horrid. Didn't mind the interior at all really

Steering wheels?? Is that to make up for the lack of Quattro? Little q

I hate auto correct why does it change it to wheels.

But yes lack of Quattro is very frustrating 4 bmws iv had e46 m3 lasted 3 months the smg11 was ****.
Z4 2.2 was lovely but so slow should have got a 3.0l 10 months lost the will to live with rwd and got bored going sideways back to Subaru it was.
Next 330d estate long story 6 months and bye bye.

Finally the m135i came after my b7 rs4 and just never cut the mustard far too soft once you got to know it and no diff became tiresome esp in wet Scotland so back to my beloved 4wd

Cars are a very personal thing. I have looked at several BMWs and nearly bought 330i Cab and 535d estate but ultimately went for the Audi equivalent. Several reasons, less bling and in your face , not such a bad 'image' ( although that is less true nowadays) , quattro, better dealers, more tactile interior, I could go on ......

It's all very subjective mate, the audi and BMW bunch are are hated equally by the general public . Audi are also quite a blingy brand, nothing seems more bling that a big white q7. Most people would state that an m5 is less blingy than an Audi rs6. I don't think it's down to the brand as a whole but the model

Quattro is great ( had the traction control light flickering in 4th gear on the motorway at 80 last night!)

I have had some very poor experience with my local audi dealer which resulted in me buying both my tt rs and rs3 from somewhere else.

I wouldn't steer clear of a brand because I don't like the image of it, it means that a car enthusiast, I could miss out on some absolutely brilliant cars

I certainly don't steer clear just because of the image but it is another factor. The RS3 can be a wolf in Sheeps clothing looks wise. Floral silver no badges etc or a real mean machine. I prefer somewhere in the middle.
I would never say never but am not excited by many BMWs. Dislike. SUV of all sorts even Q7/5!

Brand loyalty at this level will always lead to missing out on better cars.

M4 v RS3 for the thrill of driving, M4 wins.
M4 v RS3 for practicality, RS3 wins.
M4 v RS3 for looks, M4 wins, however subjective.
M4 v RS3 for usability, RS3 wins, but not by much. RWD gets a bad reputation, but other than in snow, never held me back, and snow appears to be less and less in the UK each year, so this one is levelling out.

I'd have a M4, but that's predominantly down to looks and the fact Haldex sucks the fun out of driving.

Yep that's an m3 saloon stuck Infront of my m4

I have had to adjust my driving style for the m4, all about modulating the throttle on a wet or damp day whereas with the rs3 you could just plant it

The adjustments required for RWD makes it way more interesting to drive.
Wet and damp days RWD is exhilarating, although perhaps tiresome on longer journeys.
In the dry, it's vastly superior!

Sorts out the men from the boys!

Winter tyres on the M3 and he'd be surprised just how much more effective it would be, as demonstrated here:
