I was looking at some 18 inch RS4 wheels in grey/dark grey/gunmetal

Thoughts and suggestions?

If its the new RS4 wheel top job, thinking about it myself. Think you should go 19s though IMO...

Love Audi oem's.

Twin 7 spoke some darker ones too ,

Triple 5 spoke , and a 5 spoke found on SE B8's etc .

Avus 18s would be my personal choice. I've been after a set for a while now. Still holding out for a set of 5.

What size are they?
Im guessing they are 18s as from his other pictures i cant see much stretch on the tyres, i say this as i have these wheels in 19s and my tyres are streched to stop rubbing on the arches!!

+1 for BBS. I love some of their models with a deeper offset. Its like the B7 RS4 alloys. I'm not a huge fan of them on a regular A4 B6/B7, but I really like the deep dish look on the RS4.

They are 18 x 8.5J, ET35 with 225/40 tyres. (Winter tyres in the pic so look a bit bigger)

I didn't have any issues with running at the front, only the very occasion rubbing from the rear going around corners under load but my car is quite low.

Pretty much perfect fitment if your not too low.

Loving that. I think you can only get a genuine set in the more concave style in 19 inch. Unless you go for reps. My set in the picture above are a genuine set (CH012)

My bbs's are 9j on the front and 9.5j on the rear, standard ride height and got 235/35/19 tyres on, not a massive fan of streched tyres but cant really get any wider as would rub on the rear!!!

I ended up getting these wheels Audi A5 V 10 Spoke speed lines, same as the ones I posted above. They have been refurbished, powder coated in anthacite and with 235/40/18

So what is the spec? Genuine or reps, what ET and width? The look like the fill the arches very well.

They look good, and the added bonus of being genuine quality. Are they the same centre bore or did you need spigot rings?

I think you'll find A5's have a 66.6 CB and we have a 57.1 CB but I may be wrong.

Look forward to seeing them fitted, I have been looking for some new rims with a better ET and I don't want to use spacers.
Looks like A5 could be the way to go.

Nah in all seriousness I've always thought 19" RS6's look spot on for B6's, old pic but here's mine:

Edit: Noticed your also now talking about lowering, anything bigger than 17's and I'd highly recommend going down a couple inches else your car will look like it's on stilts. Obviously a bit of bias in me saying this but 19's with Eibach are a good combo... would maybe go air ride or coilovers if I started again just for a change.

Loose the chrome, twin pipes, job done!!!!!!!

Wheels do look good, I love the way they fill the arches.
