I was wondering if anyone has found a way for the advanced key to fit in their wallet? I was thinking about purchasing a third key to experiment with, any ideas how much one would go for? Can a third key be programmed at home?

I believe a replacement key would be in region of £150-£200 and can't be programmed at home.

seriously? it doesnt fit in your pocket? wearing skinny jeans are ya?

There is no actual need for it to be the size it is, that is the point.

Seriously.

A number of other manufacturers manage to make advanced keys credit card size.

The current Audi key format is ancient and redundant.

I must admit that I only went for advanced key, because I couldn't stand the idea of twisting a metal blade. I've not had a car with a bladed key since 2007!!!

It still has to have a blade though so you can still get into the car. My ford keyless had a different arrangement for the key as it was smaller and hidden under a piece of plastic.
