Spotters Thread For 8V Chassis

First S3 Saloon I've seen actually being driven -

B4008 just outside Gloucester yesterday midday-ish. Sepang :rolleyes: , but did look good :)
 
Just seen a really nice Misano SB with chrome and a red parade interior on a 63 plate in Ringwood Hants also about 200 yards down the road a Misano HB with chrome on a 64 plate anybody on here? Must also mention a beauitful Sepang SB chrome on a 15 plate in Verwood (identical to mine)
 
Red 3 Door S3 Bristol coming out on coronation road onto the cumberland basin.
 
Well I just had a 5 day trip back to Blighty from Holyhead to Wakefield via M62...... ONE S3 in dark blue only! I then wen to Scunthorpe and drove round there for a couple of days.... Saw (My Uncle's) McLaren, Lambo and Ferrari.... but NOT ONE S3..... then on to York and there was a 3 door Missi Red S3..... back to Wakefield and then on to Holyhead yesterday (busy M62 driving).....

So 5 days in the UK and I only spotter 2 S3's!
 
Saw the splitting image of my car in the traffic jam on the tonbridge bypass, we followed each other until the massive tailback for the tunnel where we parted our ways....
 
saw a dark blue s3 sportback with the plate s3poa local to crystal palace. anyone on here? and a sepang blue s3 saloon local to catford?
 
Pretty sure I saw a bright green S3 going North of J19 on the M6 just after 5pm. I was going the other way! Anyone on here?
 
On the west coast of France about 40 miles south of La Rochelle and spotted two UK reg S3's on the campsite. One lovely '15 plate in (I think) Sepang Blue and another white S3 - with a roof box! Good to see people use their S3's for the annual camping trip! Not seen a single French reg one on the 500+ mile journey down though...

Spotted my first S3 saloon in my hometown of Worthing. Glacier White 15 plate. Smartly dressed guy, prob 10-15 years younger than me (but not as smart!) had just parked up in Tesco express. He was fairly pre-occupied yapping into his mobile but did double-take when I pulled in!

I was gonna have a quick chat inside but he never got off his phone ;)

Mine was in the very same part of France a month ago.....on its 2000 mile "running in" period as part of our annual hols, I posted a pic on here somewhere of it on the beach front at Chatelaillon Plage.

Only saw one other S3 over 2000 miles and two weeks, a silver foreign plated S3 SB on the A10 heading south during our outward journey. Could not make out where from as eventually whistled past me north of 200km/hr
 
Hello to the owner of the 15 plate S3 SB who parked behind my S3 in St David's shopping centre car park in Cardiff today (04/09/15). Lovely looking motor!

Probably the two best spaces in the car park ? :)

65 plate Sepang Blue S3 Cab in halls of residence grounds at Southampton university today (I now know where the £9000 a year fees go)

Interesting convoy on M25 junction 21 about 8.15am today

2x S3's (deep red and white) and 2 x Golf R's (dark blue and yellow) made an awesome noise as they passed me and weaved in and out of the traffic and speed cameras. All 4 very bright and shiny....maybe off to a show/track day?

Left me dead pretty quickly as I was in "her indoors mode".....lol

White HB S3 on a 14 plate in Tescos Broughton, late afternoon.

S3 in Sepang with black pack, East Keswick, Leeds, 7.55am today
 
RED s-line saloon in Cottingham near the Blue Bell pub -13/9 , Beverley near the two dodgy mini roundabouts 4/9 and Hull near David Lloyd - 28/8 (all E Yorks)..not sure if it was the same one but its one amazing red and I'd love to see it up close and personal as I want a red one! (was it Misano or brilliant..who knows) One of these days I'm going to be close enough to ask!

Another red s line saloon in Hull - local builders merchants....surely these must be one of the same...think I've only EVER seen 6 saloons and 4 in the past week were all red..must remember to clock the reg plates!

6.15 this evening and was tucking into my sausage, egg and chips when I am sure I saw a Sepang Blue S3 pop up in the background of the London/South East ITV news during a report on a cash machine smash and grab raid in Roydon (near Harlow), Essex

Might be repeated after the 10pm news anyone else see it

Sepang S3 in Kelvinbridge underground station car park in Glasgow yesterday around 1pm......sat right next to builder's compound - wouldn't have been my choice of spot !

Today @ 5.25ish, Sepango S3, Huddersfield ring road heading towards halifax road outside the old hudds college.
 
White S3 HB at East Kilbride roundabout on M77 around 7.30 tonight - RS style alloys.

we were out to give wife and kids first spin in my Daytona S3 SB - thumbs up all round :grinning: - even the wife agreed that I could turn down the volume of the radio (kids wanted Capital trash as always) so we could hear the engine pops !! She's learning !
 
Very nice White 3dr in Argos car park in Cupar. Possibly @RYuill ? Woman in the car probably would have thought I was a weirdo had I chapped the window and tried speaking to her...haha

Haha, yes that was mine. I thought it would of been yours from the reg. Was up in Argos getting the new FIFA . Probably walked right past you.
 
Haha I got Fifa delivered..tbh I was in a rush to get back to work with the new kettle so wasn't paying attention till got back to car. Ha
 
Another 64 glacier white S3 parked up for the Man United match today. Very, very dirty exhaust tips!!
 
Sepang blue S3 saloon in the car park near the pits for the BTCC at Silverstone today

Private plate and the optional wheels that you can't get on the SB. Lovely motor.
