My front brake discs and pads aren't far off needing to be changed on my A3 2litre TFSI fwd. Audi have quoted a stupid price. Anyone know what size front discs i need so I can price up parts.

288mm or 312mm not sure which. Neither are expensive. I replaced my 312 discs and pads for under £200

Just been on euro car parts and the sizes are 280, 288, 312, 345
Pricing up the 288 front discs and pads on there, the parts are less than £100

Go out to your car and measure them. Once you know what size discs they are buy the relevant pads to suit.

Without taking the wheel off and offering up a tape measure they look like 312

Are drilled and grooved discs beneficial? Seen a pair of 312 drilled and grooved mtec discs for £139.99
